Our Experience...

Farm Energy Inc. (FEI) emerged from this experience with the motto, ‘We farm the energy from the Sun, the Wind, the Ground and the natural surroundings’. The new corporation was formed in 2009 and in mid 2010, all the management resources and focuses were aligned. Combining a solid design and manufacturing background and well trained employees holding multi-trade certificates, FEI has what it takes to execute on green energy projects. The first FEI wind turbine was finished in early 2010, showing that FEI is a complete turbine design and manufacturing company, and an emerging force in the green energy sector.

Our System...

“We currently are full users of small Wind, Solar generation and we store the un-used power into batteries, water tanks or as compressed air,” said Meier. “This stored energy is then changed by our own inverters and convertors from single into useable 3 phase power. For many years, we have been changing over the operations to be electric ready on all fronts.” Meier continued, “Our non-renewable use of fuel during this cycle has been reduced to around a third of what it was. It proved to us that it can be done.”

Welcome To Farm Energy Inc...

Farm Energy Inc., is a Huron County, Ontario based, full service renewable energy corporation. Although the name is new, the group is not, having emerged from a rural based machine shop that has been operating off-grid for over 15 years. The Green Energy Act and the upcoming full engagement of domestic content rules in 2011, made Owner/President, Chris Meier, review how they generated electricity for company operations.
